Luck Monkey is a virtual entity that has overcome the confines of computers. His main method of attack is to send out smiley emoticons that actively attack foes.
KeRobo stumbled across an abandoned warehouse that contained a special coin and accompanying source code. Luck Monkey has unique virtualization software, allowing a physical projection of data. His code is written in a strange, heavily obfuscated programming language, stored entirely in the data coin that sits on his brow. The data coin has a type of malware heavily embedded in the firmware, possibly added after its creation.
A team working at an independent lab were able to rewrite enough of the code to partially work around the malware and repurpose the battle abilities of Luck Monkey. The virtualization technology and ability to deal damage with kinetic force were used in part to help create Doragon.
It's said that the source code was then destroyed to prevent further rewrites, but the validity of that claim is uncertain. Luck Monkey is the second member of the Rivals.
Luck Monkey's features resemble that of an ape. His fur is yellow and his skin is peach colored. A small, oval-shaped coin is attached to his forehead.
